The Courtyard Lodge Room 11

It was great for a last minute stop. Positive: The breakfast was Middle Eastern, which made an interesting change from the usual full English. It was very tasty. Negative: For the price, i have no complaints.

Positive: Contactless check-in and check out was well done. Good value for money. Convenient for access to the A1. Negative: Low water pressure in the bathroom and shower.

Positive: Friendly enough staff Negative: Unfortunately it is like a building site leading into the hotel. So your car will get filthy with the mud ruts. It's in the middle of no where just off a small remote turning off the A1 so getting a taxi into local places is very difficult. After waiting an hour or so I decided to pack my bags and leave. Unfortunately the remote location and few other factors such as the dirt track at the entrance would prevent me from returning or recommending this place.

Avoid Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything place was very dirty rubbish everywhere then get told my room isn't ready and they still have to clean it. They then tell me there's been a wedding and they haven't had time to clean!!!

Ok Positive: Breakfast ok Negative: I didn't like that the wifi code wa sent to my phone so I didn't see it until check out. It should have been in the room to be useful.
