Courtyard Lodge- Double Room 5

Better places to stay. Positive: The photos are definitely NOT what your getting. The bed was very short. The shower room was very small but had a massive sink which occupied a lot of room. There was a black wire rake about the sink which stopped you moving the tap properly plus the water was VERY HOT, to the extent it may be illegal. There was one pillow each, I asked for another which I got but both of them were very lumpy. The room was cold but they did get a heater. The wall lights where battery operated, had to be charged before they worked. Turned on the TV, but never worked, I checked the battery section, we had 3 batteries between two handsets Negative: Although the towels and bed linen was clean it all felt a bit manky.

Positive: Excellent Malaysian food for dinner Negative: Folding door on bathroom

Just a bit weird Positive: The staff were friendly Negative: Room was a really weird layout with the shower physically in the room. Quite dirty if im being honest too. Breakfast was tasty but curry for breakfast probably isnt for everyone haha. It was all just a bit strange and nothing like the photos. Such an amazing period building and it just feels wasted.

Avoid Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything place was very dirty rubbish everywhere then get told my room isn't ready and they still have to clean it. They then tell me there's been a wedding and they haven't had time to clean!!!

Was ok Positive: The room was nice but , bathroom was clean Negative: The fridge was making noises in every hour, floor was not clean enough, mosquitoes in room didn't allowed me to sleep all night
