I wish I had done my homework before booking this hotel, the worst place I stayed in and I’ve spent the night in many ho Positive: Nothing to like if I’m honest as it was not like it was portrayed in the pictures on line, the shower just dribbled on you and the noise levels were very loud. I had a maintenance man outside my room using a hammer and angle grinder until as 2200hrs and when asked to give it up earlier the day, he refused. I checked out a day earlier due to this and they also had a wedding on that day which was going to be going on until early hours in the morning which would have been a nightmare on my part due to the lack of sleep. When I did check out I was advised that they would refund me the day rate for the inconvenience and early check out, however when this was raised through booking.com, they refused to pay the refund. A cowboy hotel comes to mind, happy to take your money and provide a non existent poor service. Not a place I would recommend if you plan to sleep and happy to stay in hostel

Stay in the hotel across the otherside of the A1. At least they have staff Positive: Nothing really, as there was nothing there Negative: No staff, tiny awkward rooms, intermittent hot or boiling hot water, wasps.

not for me. wont be booking here in future Positive: the staff were very polite at breakfast Negative: quality of the room was really poor , the noise from the dual carriageway was loud, uncomfortable bed with very thin duvet, unsure on security of the room (as it felt as though someone had forced the door in the past) pressure in the shower was non-existent.
